Women and Family Safety Worker 35 hours

We are looking for a Women and Families Safety Worker to join our growing team

Embracing a trauma informed approach, you will provide support to women who are survivors of gender-based violence and whose partners or ex partners are subject to reports, risk assessments, or perpetrator programme interventions being delivered by, or on behalf of, Angus Justice Services.

The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ experience of supporting women who have experienced gender based violence.

Funder: Angus Criminal Justice Service 

Hours: 35 hours per week funded for 18 months (with opportunity to seek further funding)

Salary:  £29,011 (probationary salary for first year) rising to £31,231 (after 1 year and successful completion of probation period)

Location: Covering Angus area and potential travel to Dundee office for meetings as and when required.

Holiday Entitlement: 38 days + 5 public holidays per year, increasing to 42 days + 5 public holidays after 4 years of service.

Pension: Employer contribution at 6% to pension fund.
